start your computer up pressin ctrl when you get to the windows 98 start-up select "comand prompt only" at the promt tyep in cd \windows\command then type format. then after the drive has been formated you can reinstall windows. hopefully this should work, but it will erase your hardrive of all programs, exept those on the Windows disk you can also do the format useing the Windows Boot-Disk. at the promt type in format
