spybot, still have 'error retrieving update info file!' despite reinstalling Monday, May 19, 2003 at 3:16 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Manuel (546 messages posted) I've read with interest some recent messages regarding spybot and problems with updates. I've tried reinstalling spybot 1.2 and, whenever I choose the search for updates option, I am still getting this "error retrieving update info file!" message despite reinstalling. I've tried both easy and advanced mode. Is anyone else having the same problem, and can anyone help at all?
