you should have a restore or recovery disk
that came with the laptop...
THIS is what you need to reinstall windows...

don't try it any other way.....

Read the manual that came with your laptop..
or check with the manufacturers website..
They should tell you how to perform the restore 
operation properly...

Doing it wrong can have you wind up with an
expensive paperweight....
