windows protection error Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 10:38 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by matt (7 messages posted) i just built my first computer and everything was working fine. i inserted a disk of ASRock drivers on cd for the motherboard and was told to restart so the changes could take place. now i get the stupid windows protection error everytime i try to start the computer and can only use safe mode. i tried all of the microsoft remedies and hours later still can't get anywhere. any ideas? thanks in advance.
