Please Help Friday, June 13, 2003 at 6:23 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by JP (1 messages posted) I wanted to upgrade my win98 to win xp, but after inserting the win xp cd, it came up with an unknown msg error( illegal operation ) and then says that installation has been stopped due to restrictions in effect on my computer. What is the problem here?
