Try this QuickCleanUpBootDisk

Run delindex from the A:\> prompt with: A:\Delindex , enter , read the screen and 
proceed to: R.

Then run: A:\>scandisk /all , and A:\>scanreg /fix

Then try booting into safe mode by tapping the F8 key during the start-up, choose 
safe mode and when the screen appears cancel it and run defrag.

Probably take all night to complete.

When you can D/L and burn to CD-RW this MUCH better defrag program which requires 
a minimum of 64Mb of RAM to run properly.
