Thank you very much. That worked. My computer booted up fine after I edited the Registry and the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. But at some point after I deleted the McAfee VirusScan Files and the McAfee VxD Files, I must have missed something because now when I boot up it says that it cannot find a device file and that the registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file. The file is C:\PROGRA~1\MCAFEE\MCAFEE~2\SAFE&S~1\FBWIN95.VXD how do I delete this file? Thanks again for your help.
