It's very easy to get rid of the logon box all together.

In the Network applet - for Primary Network Login choose Windows Logon. Password
Properties - Check 'all users of this PC use the same preferences and desktop settings.'

While you're in the Network applet, remove unnecessary network devices. There are
several installed by default, that are not needed in every case. If you're not networked,
remove Client for MS Networks, NetBEUI, and IPX/SPX Compatible. Those extras installed
affect performance.

Password Properties
Check > All users of this PC use the same preferences and desktop settings.

Remove Passwords:
Go to C:\Windows
Delete all .pwl files

Go to Run > Sysedit
Open system.ini
Delete all lines under
[Password Lists]
Close and Save changes
