Dorothy some of the operating systems will automatically detect and install your
web camera, but others will not. For example, Windows XP will probably detect and
install, but Windows98 may not. Also you need to check in your CMOS for the USB
ports and see if they are enabled. Depending upon the computer, when you bootup
and hear the beep, press the escape key to go to the CMOS. On one of the menus you
should find settings for your USB ports.
