ive done all of that. i've searched the internet for everything and ive done everything every website has told me to do. ive reinstalled the IDE stuff and the CD rom stuff... my computer doesnt think it has any CD-Rom drives. instead of them showing up in the CD-ROM tab in the device manager, they show up in the Hard disk controllers. I edited the Autoexec.bat and config.sys to force load the cd-rom driver... now they show up in my computer, but still no CD-ROM drives in the Device manager...
