JmC, 

I'm not really sure what a corrupt Registry entry would look like. The entries are 
listed below. 

Default   value not set

Capabilities  14 00 00 00

class    "uc_logic"

I have found that you can literally unplug the device, plug it back in and windows 
re-detects it as an unknown device!
