Kristi,

I hope you got that taken care of. If not, I'd forgotten about this resource. It 
has other information that may be of help, in addition. I haven't checked it all 
out and had just forgotten completely about it! 

McAfee uninstall:

P.S. If the VScan (or whatever the name is) icon is still left in the Control Panel, 
search for *.CPL files using Find - Files. You may recognize which one it is, and 
you can delete it. In addition, each of those can be double click to open the applets.
