Thanks very much WhitPhil, I've just tried what you say and I'm delighted to say
the free space has just jumped to 1.73 gigs. I'm not entirely sure that's the full
amount of space I've cleared but maybe it is, and it's a start anyway. There were
a couple of files in Windows/TEMP that had apparently been misrecorded. Also some
lost clusters that got renamed.
I'll also need a new BIOS battery ASAP, I could do with a defragment also and I decided
a long time that my next OS install would be Linux, LOL :) Thanks very much WhitPhil
and Paul for all your help, I'll only come back if there's another problem, I guess!
