when the recent hang ups rendered the HDD inaccesible, i deleted the partitions and pull it out of its bay and plug it in to our new PC - frm there i repartition it using PartitionMagic- all seems fine... but when i used MAxBlast3 to enable the HDD usable in that Pentium 166 - it just overwritten the partition and there it was again - just when am halfway the win98se installation - i presumed it hit the alleged bad sector again... when i tried to access the disk - it says " primary disk drive failure" - u think i can still get back the disk working?
