Hi Duane, first thing I would try would be reinstalling Solitaire. OK, I'm using Windows XP here so I don't have 98 to double check but I think this is the procedure (from memory):

Go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Windows Setup, then untick the box for "Games" then Apply and OK your way out.

Then do the same again and re-tick the box for games and click Apply, you may be asked to insert your Windows 98 CD at this point so have it ready...
