Yes. XP is an operating system that does not run off DOS. XP uses NTFS format partition. It can run on FAT32. Whatever it is delete the partition recreate a new partion with FAT32, then use a window 98 boot disc to boot yourself into DOS. Then format the C drive: C:\Format C: Press Enter then it will say are you sure you want to....you'll lose all info. type Y Press enter after all of this, put the windows 98 operating system disc in and let it run.
