Same story here. Long,long ago, I would rename the registry key to "isBobShortcut",
but then just used tweakUI for years. Finally went to cable modem this summer, thought,
why not, try windows update, and boom, stupid little arrows reappear. I'd forgotten
about the unusual affects of renaming the registry key (shortcut keys don't work?
also extra right-button options now appear) so I used Microangelo to doctor up shell32.dll,
I think that's by far the best fix. Though now I realize I have no other use for
TweakUI! Microangelo is (and has been) a great utility for a long time IMO.
