Astra UMAX 2000U Scanner and 98SE Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 9:36 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Scott Brown (23 messages posted) I skipped scanners and went straight to digital cameras, so I dont have a lot of experience with scanner problems. I've got an HP Pavilion 8660c (intel 810e integrated graphics with newest updates). The UMAX 2000u scanner is hooked up to the front USB port. Everytime I try to scan a photo, I get red/blue/green lines on the entire image area as well as the simulated bed area in the image preview area. Colors are set to 24bit true color and the screen res is 1024X768. Anyone have any clue on how to get rid of those? There are presently no replies to this message.
