Here's I edit my Autoexec.bat file...
Open NOTEPAD.
Click on FILE.
Click on OPEN.
Look in: C
Click on FILES OF TYPE:
Click on ALL FILES (*.*).
Scroll over to AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Click on AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Click on OPEN.
Edit from there.
This method also works for accessing the CONFIG.SYS.
Side note: I added four little lines to my Autoexec.bat and they work like a charm.
DelTree /Y C:\WINDOWS\TEMPOR~1\CONTENT.IE5
DelTree /Y C:\WINDOWS\COOKIES
DelTree /Y C:\WINDOWS\HISTORY\HISTORY.IE5
deltree /y C:\windows\temp\*.*
Keeps things nice and tidy...
