I searched for NDIS.VXD and found 1 instance in the Windows directory. I then copied the patch from Brian to that directory and ran it. The patch replaced the NDIS.VXD file in the Windows directory and placed a copy in the Windows/Cab directory. Since then, I've had no further problems. I don't know if it will work with Win98SE.
