Do you have the motherboard manuals? Alternatively, how
old was your old machine and is the new machine really new, or second-hand?The
point I am making is that if you have gone from an AT machine to an ATX machine,
each one is behaving as it is designed to do, and you have nothing to worry about.
Software power off is a feature of ATX motherboards, and you will not see the shutdown
screen. And no, I have not misunderstood you.
