Instead of panicking and looking for the right engineer to pop up I just serached for a discussion forum and since then I have received very handy support For the time being I am taking it one at a time I have tried scanreg/ restore but in vain....... I have even tried to replace the shodcvw.dll to no avail.... The only thing left to do seems to be " re install " the windows 98 and run a virus scan using the file tsc.zip I am reday to re install but I am feeling apprehensive coz 'am not sure if that would be able to restore my already installed softwares.
