If your planning to re-format your HDD you might as well delete all of windows. To do this you start up as normal, where you would normally shutdown, instead of shutdown click restart in Dos. You wiil find yourself looking at whats called a C prompt...like this..C:/ just type in delete windows...it will come up with a mssge saying all files will be lost...do you still want to do this....and it will give you a y or n option type in the y. You will end up with just Dos then you type in reformat c: let it reformat then install Windows fron Dos. Goodluck...:) PS. DONT select the dos prompt inside windows...you MUST go back to actual dos in the way I described.
