Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 4:18 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by aljernon805 (86 messages posted) i not familiar with ms fax svc, but i installed third party fax device which i can access via program menus. however, the program also started every time i turned on the machine or restarted. two possible sollutions: in the program it self i told it not to load at start up. also, look in the start menu to see if you can remove from there. another possible solution is to use a program like started to control which programs load at start up.
