Use this same VIA...link

Download the latest driver version, VIAHyperion4in1v4.49.zip. Unzip the download 
to a folder on your drive, or let your zip utility guide you through it, by clicking 
the downloaded .zip file. This is bullet proof, it will only install/update the necessary 
files required by your particular system.

If you should continue to have any USB related problems, there's also a USB Filter 
patch available. Try the driver update first.
