I'm having a problem with partition magic. I'm trying to delete the partition (i only have one in fat32 format as my hd isn't v big) But i get the error 993: Partition contains open files. Use op. system check utility. . I then get error 58: Unable to write boot sector. Virus protection software may be running. I've tried doing a scandisk to fix the errors. But it still doesn't let me. Do i need to delete config.sys and autoexec.bat. If so how do i do this in dos: "del autoexec.bat" and "del config.sys" in the c directory? Thanks
