(5 messages posted) Hi, I searched the forum and site to find the answer, but I couldn't so sorry if this is an old repeat question. Every time I start my computer with Win 98 SE, I get the Microsoft Windows Startup Menu that has the count down timer and the number options for safe mode, c: prompt, etc. If I ignore, then the 30 seconds passes and Windows loads correctly; If I press enter, then Windows loads immediately. This is very annoying and I'd like to learn how to make it stop! thanks! -Jeff G.
