Glad to read ur generous response on this: My problems (Reboot): 1. For the past year, I run win XP well on my PC. 2. Recently, the system reboot itself while running XP, without any message.... After reboot (auto), it runs in checkdisk mode. If I continue to let for the checking, it will do checking and reboot half way. If I escape the checking, it will go in winXP but will re-boot again at no time, no signal, no message... 3. Finally I re-install winXP (after format the hard disk) in suspecting this may be the winXP program faulty, but I was not able to that, as the pc reboot during half way, not even let me complete the installation process. 4. So I downgrade and install win98SE, and it works fine. 5. I verify my RAM (by take off the one i have, and put on my fren's), also I performed chkdsk.. both no problem found.. 6. So now, I am using win98SE with hidden problems that prohibit me from install winXP. I am worry about this hidden potential harzard cause problems.... What is the problems in details, u may think of? pls help. thks
