If you do not get a 'distribution list deleted' message but just can't get the actual
email address to display - I found this to be caused by a discrepancy between the
setting for 'name displayed' eg. 'Bloggs, Joe' or 'Joe Bloggs' between the ADDRESS
book and the CONTACT list in Outlook 2000. EVEN IF the properties show them to be
displayed the same - reclick on the one you want in address book and it will automatically
update CONTACTS to match - i.e. show actual email address. This is a problem where
an address book is imported (I imported from Lotus). This saves an enormous amount
of hassle that I had no time to try in other solutions given.
