Can't access the ''Display Properties'' window Friday, December 19, 2003 at 9:27 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Gerry (1 messages posted) I want to turn off my screensaver but I cannot open the "Display Properties" window. I have tried right clicking on the "Desktop", but when I click on "Customize My Desktop", nothing happens...the "Display Properties" window does not open. If I go to the "Start" menu and "Control Panel", when I click on "Display", the hourglass appears for about half a second but the "Display Properties" window still does not open. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it or perhaps tell me another way to get into the "Display Properies" window?
