Are you able to run DOS from a boot disk for a longer time? If so, perhaps you have contracted a virus and need to do a scan with norton or macafee. How about CPU/MB temperature? Does the CPU fan turn (on some MBs, the CPU will shut down if it does not sense a running fan). HTH Curt
