error messages, invalid page faults

I just bought a new computer and I'm getting 2 error messages. This one pops up when
I'm running games:
DDHELP caused an invalid page fault in
module at 0000:b00e85f2.

I don't know if its the same problem but the effect is the same. The game or explorer
is closed and not long after that the system freezes.
I can't identify these errors so I don't know what they relate to and searches don't
seem to turn up anything useful.
