Problems after I Uninstalled Xp and returned to existing 98SE Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 10:55 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Anne (2 messages posted) I installed an XP trial version on my windows 98 SE machine and did not like it for various reasons so I uninstalled it as they said I could and now I am having all kinds of problems with my machine and I think it has to be remnants of XP. Does anyone have any idea how to make sure i have all the remnants out of my machine? One of the problems is that all my directories show up in backwards alphabetical order and the other problems lead to the machine locking up, running out of resources and other such nonsense.
