emm386.exe Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 11:26 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by stewco (1 messages posted) Ok, I am not completely DOS literate, I get an error message that says "Emm386.exe not loaded" "Creative SB16 requires Emm386 or similar" "Creative SB16 emulator not loaded" this comes up when I start my system.....I have went into DOS and did c:\windows\dir emm386.exe and it said that the file is not loaded......but I do not know how to get it loaded......even though it shows the file to be there......can anyone explain to me in simple terms how to get this file to load? or how to get rid of that error message?
