Compaq won't start Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 12:36 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by heather (2 messages posted) A blank screen - except for "81920 KB OK" in the top left - is all that comes on when I turn on my 1998 compaq laptop. I tried doing a CTRL ALT DEL but nothing happens. The machine often turns itself off when I am not using it, then says it has not been shut down properly. The day before I could not access the D disk (CD disk). Can anyone help, please?
