Maybe a computer of the type you described requires a different process,but when
formatting my hard drive I press F8 as the computer boots(no floppy in drive)Choose
command prompt only,and at the prompt type format c: After it's done,ensure bios
is set to boot from cd-rom as first boot,stick in win whatever and that's it.
