Today I tried to turn on my laptop and it said:

General failure reading drive C
abort, retry, ignore, fail?

I own a Sony Viao Laptop PCG-F430, Pentium III, Win 98.

I would appreciate any help given--IŽm currently stuck in the highlands of Guatemala,
so IŽll try to check my email as soon as possible. I didnŽt drop my computer or anything.
It has been on my desk the whole time usually for the sole purpose of watching anime
so I donŽt think that there is any physical disconnection between the hard drive
and the motherboard. The hard drive is also firmly connected to the drive. Thanks
again!
