Either it's a trick, you have Computer Cooties, or your mouse is toast..... Boot, press and hold the 'CTRL' key to enter the boot menu. Select the 'COMMAND PROMPT ONLY' option and press enter. At the C:\> prompt, type 'SCANREG /RESTORE' and press enter. When the screen appears, select a backup dated before this problem occurred. Finish out the backup process and then reboot.
