Control Panel Disabled Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 9:50 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dan Chappell (5 messages posted) All of the applications in my "Control Panel" are inaccessible. Any Icon that I click on will give me "Access to the specified device, path, or file is denied." error. I recently had some spyware hijack my homepage. I was able to successfully remove this and restore my home page, but now I have this problem. I have done everything that I know of to fix this and give up. I am about ready to reload Windows and start over. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks....
