Win98 Dial-up ICS - Host PC connects, but cannot browse web

I have a problem with a home networking setup. There are two Win98SE computers, call them A and B.

A has the modem, and therefore dials into the internet. It shares this connection with B via an ethernet hub.

A cannot browse the internet, but it can ping outside sites. B is happy and can browse the web normally.

Both use IE, and it *used* to work fine. Is there some setting that might have been changed accidentally, or something I should check?
