This board has been so helpful and I am grateful to have so many suggestions to read.
So last night I reinstalled windows 98 using the upgrade disc. Everything went
smoothly UNTIL the computer was restarted. I then got the message "Unable to initialize
the scan engine" in the box labelled PCCIOMON. So now I am wondering if anyone
can tell me how to get my scan engine initialized. I do know how to use DOS pretty
well. Thanks
Chris
