Dave, super helpful. Solved my problem immediately. I am not going to re-install NSS because I have consistantly had too many problems with it. I am currently running two free programs as a temporary protection method but would love input about good system maintenance programs as well as protection programs. Using AVG and Zone Alarm, OS is Win 98se. Thank you again! jeri
