Is there anything you're aware of that occurred prior to this problem? Listing the exact errors and when they occur is also important. There has been a rash of systems with Rundll32 file problems lately. Most of them were caused by CoolWebSearch variants. Although your problem sounds more like a Virus, try replacing the file below. Then give us the information requested above. Download this copy of RUNDLL32.EXE. (Win98 & Win98 SE) Go to the location you downloaded the file, right-click it and select COPY. Next select Start/Run, type C:\WINDOWS in the 'Open' box and press enter. Now right-click in the Windows folder that opened and select PASTE. If prompted to overwrite the file, answer 'Y'....YES.
