missing SHLDDRV.VXD Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 6:03 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Roland (13 messages posted) After running a virus scan, I have been receiving an error message upon boot up saying that the file SHLDDRV.VXD is missing. I suspect that this file was overwritten by a virus and was deleted in the scan. I did a Google search and found only one other post of an instance of this happening to anyone else, and the few fixes they were given did not fix my problem. Is there any way I can get rid of this error on boot?
