Sorry no cigar. I deleted everything in the Registry I still get the boot error about symevnt.386. I am sure there is a registered dll that is getting called on boot up somewhere. I checked the software\microsoft\windows\ run, run- runonce searched the registry and deleted everything with Norton and Symantec still get that message.
