I tried the solution im replying to earlier on today, but it did not work. I spent
45 mins reinstalling win98 again from the cd over my old installation (without a
format), and this had the effect of sorting it all out, (for some reason windows
would not allow the memory ranges required by the graphics drivers, or any others
i manually changed them to). Its now sorted completely, although this is a very time
consuming solution.
