My problem happen quite a while ago so I can't give anyone any specific information
now. One thing I will advise though - DON'T LET IT GO INTO SAFE MODE!
I now watch my start-up screen and if I get the choice screen Do you want to ...
1) Start normally 2) Start in Safe mode ... I make sure I hit the 1 quick smart!
This invariably gets me a normal start in my normal screen with all colours BUT I
get a warning screen asking me to confirm my display settings. Once i click ok I'm
running as per normal.
I think I have dropped into Safe mode once since but I closed down and rebooted (not
sure if I just hit the power button) and when it re-started I chose 1 as above.
prevention is better than cure, eh!
