Hi,
I've had a similar problem. I think your problem is in the nature of you have to
get the logon screen back before you can get rid of it the right way.
Delete (after backing up your registry) the AutoLogon key in:
HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Network\Real Mode Net
This should restore your logon prompt.
Now, the TweakUI method to logon automatically to the network should work; except
for me, I still had another problem.
Somehow, I had two different password files for Username, "Owner". One file was
OWNER.PWL
the other was
OWNER000.PWL
Once I deleted the password files, and the corresponding entry in SYSTEM.INI, and
recreated the password, things started to work.
Since you have a peer-to-peer network, I think you'll want a "Windows Logon" "Primary
Network Logon", rather than a "Client for Microsoft Networks" "Primary Network Logon".
