I have been pestered by NTL POP UPS to add broadband medic. After 21 pop-ups in two days i gave in and pressed yes or install. The next day [DC]> MATCLI appeared. Fearing an alien attack i viewed your site, [thankyou for the tips] [a 1st time visitor] I uninstalled broadband medic and it went. i still do not know what it does or is for. Sleepless in Leeds?
