I've seen TV Media in HijackThis logs. What it involves to get rid of it, is to remove
it from startup and make sure it isn't running. Then navigate to your Program Files
folder and delete the entire TV Media directory.
Clear out your TIF and other temp files. Internet Options - General tab. Delete temporary
internet files - choose 'delete all Offline content'. Settings - set the size of
your TIF folder between 5 - 10 MB. Choose - View Objects - choose View Details on
the toolbar. If any ActiveX Controls are marked "unknown" or "damaged", remove them.
Plus, remove any you don't recognize. Find - Files or folders - in the named box,
type: *.tmp Select all - delete. Empty C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp folder,
if you have one. Empty Recycle bin.
I suggest installing SpywareBlaster to help protect your system from further problems.
Check for and download updates after installing it. Enable protection for Restricted
sites, as well as IE. Check for updates often: JavaCoolSoftware.com
